DIROS

Directions from the WebSite:

Finding Sunburst: Do NOT use Mapquest to find us. It will get you VERY lost. Google doesn't do much better.

If you would like to use your GPS to find us you can TRY: County Road 352, zip code 65626, Ozark County but you should print out the directions below as well. Many GPS users get lost on these rural roads. TRUST US!

FROM ST. LOUIS: Take Interstate 44 to Rolla, then follow Hwy. 63 to Cabool. From Cabool, take 181 South to Dora. Continue for three miles south of Dora on 181, and you will come to the junction with H Hwy. Stay on H a total of 7 miles further, and our sign is on the left, 1.25 miles past PP & H Junction, at County Road 352. Turn left onto 352, and follow the gravel drive, through our front gate.

Sheets and Things

Got an email from Justin (see below). Looks like we all need a sleeping bag. Also I would bring a towel if you feel the need to shower.

Looks like the kitchen is stocked with the exception of maybe dish towels.

Oh and the "fishing has been good."

Should have basic pots pans etc. We should have dish soap and all you need.
Remind everyone to bring own linens/sleeping bag (gets you the off season
rate!) Fishing has been good, look forward to seeing you, heading down to do some painting right now.

New Loaction Announced for TT MMX

Forget about Denny B's Snake and Tick Ranch. Forget about Ozark Mountain Ranch. Forget about Montauk State Park and the Licking Exchange.

This year's Turkey Trout 2010 (TT MMX) will expand it's range of influence southward. Acting on a tip from members of the Urban Trout Assault Team and Ozark Trout Daredevils , the event has relocated for this year to a spot on the North Fork of the White River. Moving the accommodations inside this year.

Based on weather conditions the last few years the group has decided to stay in the "River House Cabin" at Sunburst Ranch outside of beautiful West Plains Missouri. Yes, home of the Zizzers and Ben Schmickle.

The Date has been Set!

Well, by popular demand the Turkey Trout is back.

Well we got the blog up early but it took a while to lock down the dates. Based on the blog voting and with approval of the senior staff of TT Inc and OTD we have confirmation on the weekend of April 3 - 5. Hopefully this works for everyone.

As usually I propose we meet some night in the next couple weeks at Syberg's for some planning and what not.

Sincerely,
Jeff G
